Saman, I agree. Some people wouldn't, but I do. You know, my Mom raised me to believe that everything happens for a reason. She told me I'd have experiences in life that would make me upset/angry, but to never forget that everything is mapped out and that with time things would get better. She taught me the best way to get through life is with your head held high and keep a positive attitude. Sometimes that is so hard to do! Sometimes I just react out of emotion, but I always think back to the things my mother has taught me, and I get by just fine. My emotions with losing Matthew vary from day to day still. Most of the time, I am still so sad and it feels like someone has placed a ton of bricks on my chest. Along with that comes feelings of guilt for not being around my family, always living so far away. Other days I am so angry that his life was cut so short and that he didn't get to experience much of what life had to offer him. Now I just go back to that advice from my momma. Trying to be positive and focus on his life and not his death. My tattoo is just a way to help move on with life. I struggle everyday, but I am focusing my energy living life and not taking it for granted.
