I came across the turtle pic below and my mind started to think about living a life that is physically shared/attached with that of another. I find myself conflicted when seeing  genetic mutations that result in abnormalities. On the one hand, i am amazed at the possibilities for what can be created, but I also find myself concerned about how it may negatively impact ones life. The latter of the two usually weighs more heavily on me...

This past weekend Sue and I headed north to San Fran for my cousin Tina's wedding. On my mother's side, our family is split between the DC area and San Fran. My mother and Saman's mom are in the DC area, but their mother, sisters, and brothers are all in San Fran.

Being an Internet guy who loves casual gear (sweats, t-shirts, sneakers) I was dreading dressing up. I hit up TJ Max the day before the wedding for pants, a belt, a shirt and tie. Dressing up didn't kill me, but man, tight clothes makes you sweat and feel like a stiff =)

Anyway, the festivities were fun and it was great seeing my mother, cousins, uncles, grandma, etc. Looking forward to seeing more of them.
