New Tatto Yay!

Well I walked in at 3pm thinking I had a tattoo (the pot leaf was there, a bit faded) But now... I really got a Tatt. Freekin love it. My cousin Luke hooked it up nice. A good 5 hours work and very happy. Added the Sun, Owl, Spider, and tied it all in nicely. I added pic of it in my photos.

Day at the beach

5 A.M. I peel open one eye to see the red numbers on the clock. Well theres only one way my ass is going to pedal up to the lake and thats by getting up and throwing the bags on the bike. Out the door I went. Stop off at BK for a breakfast sandwich and rolled my way down the road 20 miles up to Port Clinton Ohio. The sun was bursting through the big morning clouds in Giant beeming rays. The town from my childhood looks quite different now, new buildings and a changed skyline. None of the old demons of the past lived here anymore.

Peace

Cured! everytime, without fail. Love right from the heart of mother earth, wraped up in her arms as the trees pass by a swirl of full on green. Radical silence filled up by wakeing birds chanting their songs into the cool morning air. Father sky breaking through the clouded blanket above, shining warm rays against my skin. This gliding along the trail is a deep love and deeper healing. The remembering comes when you fly out into it.

5 Days 500 Miles

Well Yahoo maps said it was 420 miles, Fremont to Cincinnati, but I'm sure it was a bit more adding country routes and my detour through Dayton. My fingertips are still numb from 12 hour riding days, nursing my sprained ankle, and yes my ass is very very sore but Dick and I had an absolutely blast of a time for our first big tour of 2008 and I've got the third degree sunburn to prove it *grin* Follows are my notes in journal as they unfolded along the way...

Just need to stop by Dan's Bike shop for a fresh water bottle and holder, hmmm should pick up a front light as well - would like to do a bit of night riding on the open country roads. Text "IMPEACH" to 30644

On June 9, 2008, a day that will live in valor, Dennis
Kucinich introduced articles of impeachment against George W. Bush,
just as he had done against Richard B. Cheney late last year.

It was truly stunning to hear him recite all the undisputed evidence
against Bush himself, which took 4 hours on the House floor. Even
more stunning is the fact that the House at large has still taken no
action to actually stand up for itself as a co-equal branch of our
government.

Fully Loaded

Freek'in Awesome Weather!!! Got three rides in Sunday; Sunrise ride I was fully loaded (front bags, to build up endurance with extra weight), afternoon I just knocked one out no bags no ferret full speed *nice one*, came home for a nice soak in the tub, then another sunset ride loaded up. Sixety miles for the day, way to start the week. This morning Dick and I rode out to Doebles in Clyde to pick up some seed. Mary gave me six planters she did not plan to ever use. Filled them right up with dirt and seeded with spinach and red leaf lettuce. Speaking of lettuce HOLEY SMOKES my beds are loaded. Cutting as fast as I can. Grocery had a run on bacon so tonight there will be wilted lettuce for super. This week is set to down right beautiful and I plan to be out in it.Building the legs up fora trip south this month to Cincinatti. Little Miami Bike Trail is very nice.
