I will post something soon and let you know how I'm feeling.
I figure most of you now me as Melo the basketball player. But, I also love music and entertainment and recently launched Kross Over Entertainment. Kross Over signed a few artists to the label, including including producer/artist Sounds, R&B singer Alesia Miller and Atlanta-based rapper Berg. The first single released by the label will be Berg's "Hold Up" which features UGK's Bun B. One of my latests projects is "Prison Ball," a documentary that we produced and I narrate. Its a haunting film which profiles some imprisoned ballers and explores the forces that drive dysfunction in urban neighborhoods. But it also questions the wisdom of giving hard time to two-bit dealers. There are a lot of dimensions to me: music, basketball, movies, family, Hood Movement Charity, Carmelo Rec Center in B-More, becoming the best person and players I can be, etc etc.

We all recognize history's greatest musicians and athletes by only one name: Madonna, Bono, Sting, Jordan, Shaq, Kobe. It's time to add one more name to this list, Carmelo. In just three seasons, Carmelo Anthony has become a superstar in the NBA. After winning an NCAA Championship in only his freshman year at Syracuse, the Denver Nuggets drafted Carmelo with the 3rd pick in the NBA Draft. It was all she wrote from there. The Nuggets are now perennial playoff contenders and Melo, as he is affectionately called by his friends, has made himself into one of the top 10 players in the NBA. Soul2Soul had the pleasure of catching up with Melo after he finished an intense off-season basketball workout. He is more than meets the eye: thoughtful, diligent, passionate, professional, hard working, creative and talented. Check out what Melo had to say:
