I was born in Tehran. I was 3 days old, when we supposedly escaped on donkey through the mountains and ended up in California. grew up in the OC. went to college in texas. went to grad school in boston. in between i somehow ended up in various cities throughout germany, austria, spain, france, italy, england, slovakia, netherlands...i am a gypsy. in the last 10 years, i have moved every year. (I attribute my dervish soul to my great-great-great-etc.grandfater Rumi...my middle name is also Shams...who was Rumi's inspiration and muse). i am a work in progress. i have the most amazing friends and inspiring quirky family that any gal could ask for...I live for the moment, I love life. I smile so much my face hurts sometimes. Oh--I'm blessed because my hobby is my job. I'm an opera singer. I love opera and 2 sing.
