A Star on the Hollywood walk of fame is given to  human and non-human celebrities honored by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for their contributions to the entertainment industry. Ricky Martin is not only one of the most successful latinos in the music industry he is also an accomplished actor. He played Miguel Morez on the long running soap opera General Hospital for over 2 years before moving on to his music career.
