Before last week, my school was considered a top rated safe school in Pennsylvania. As you may have read in my blog last week, a boy i was once friends with, Sean Metzler, committed suicide last weekend. This was the first suicide in 5-6 years in my school. Early Sunday morning, another boy I was once friends with hung himself. He too was a junior in my school. What is our world coming to? there is nothing worse in this world than a child dying, but when a kid takes his own life, that is when i think there are serious problems. I was stunned when i learned the news. Within two weeks, two different boys, two different suicides, one with a bullet the other a rope, two families in mourning. Sometimes life just doesn't make sense. RIP Sean Metzler. RIP Scott Glover. And may your friends and families find peace.
