Dove...a step ahead of the rest!

Dove has done it again! Many of you might have seen their "real women have curves" Ad last year with women who were obviously not models. They came in every shape and size the way normal women do. Well they now have a campaign that asks " Does beauty have an age limit?".  Woman of all ages above 50 are taking it all off for these new Dove ads.

I applaud them. It's about time we have positive role models for women that are not making you feel you will never never measure up. 

I am trying to lose weight and I belong to a forum to give and get support. And in my diary I mentioned that I had lost weight. I got a comment from somone today asking me how I had lost it and complimenting me on keeping up with my proper eating because she always messes up by the 3rd day. When I looked at her profile she is 15 years old,  5' 7 and currently weighs 90 lbs and wants to be 75 lbs. I so want to tell her something because she must have a eating disorder. But I don't want to criticize her either.... What should I do?

That is why we need more positive images for women!!! PARENTS PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR KIDS!!!!

I have no idea what to say and that is very disturbing.   It was quite recent that a couple of models died from being to thin and overdieting. The life they lead in order to make cash is unfortunately killling some of them. Recently Italy announced that there is a weight limit for models and it would be great if other countries would follow suit. It's a public health issue. 5'7 and 75 lbs.. she could die.

I know and I don't know enough about the mindset of someone like that. Will telling her that she is way too thin stop her from coming to the forum. It might be her only chance of getting help....
