i took her to buy jeans on saturday.  my mom hasnt bought jeans since moses split the red sea...lol...so you can imagine the look on her face when she what jeans cost these days..."mom, i got it...dont worry about the price," i said. "i could pay my mortgage with this money," she replied...this was her treat so whatever she wanted tshe could have....she tried on every pair of trendy jeans you could imagine...true religion, antiques, rock & republic, seven, etc etc...nothing fit her.....after a couple hours, she found a pair she liked...she was really happy...i was really happy that she found something she liked.  afterwards, i took her to lunch...we hung out, gossipped...lol...had a good time. her birthday weekend wasnt over, on sunday i took her to the wizards game....seats were great....i took her down to the players family lounge afterwards and she met the fellas. they all took turns giving her a big hug, calling her moms, flirting with her (gilbert called her "darling"...lol...he is craaaazy :)) .my mom burst out laughing...anyways, just wanted to share...it was a good weekend...i am glad my mom enjoyed her birthday
