Some Notes About Jesus

God has only one son (Jesus).
He that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. -- John 3:18
God sent his only begotten son into the world. -- 1 John 4:9
Adam was also God's son.
Adam, which was the son of God. Luke 3:38

Some of God's sons had sex with women producing a race of giants.
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. ... There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them. -- Genesis 6:2-4
Satan and his companions were sons of God.
The sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them. Job 1:6
Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD. -- Job 2:1
God's sons were present when the universe was created.
Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? -- Job 38:6-7
Christians are God's sons. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God. -- John 1:12

hey doda!  I'm a bit confused by your post and need some clarification...Are you a Christian?  You pasted the above from a skeptic website, so are you trying to present the contradictions of the Bible and Christianity?  If so, please tell us what is your religion?  Do you believe in God???

Looking forward to your debate :-)

if  you see my profile you can clearly see that I am a muslim..

I am not questioning the bible, because as you see the answers are from the bible,
what i want to say is what muslims believe about Jesus and what the Bible say about Jesus..

Jesus is a great prophet, for us he is one of the top prophets ..
but he is not God,
and the word SON OF GOD means according to the bible A RIGHTEOUS MAN...
Is that bad?

I want you to read the Bold titles and say to your self :is that man a bad man?

Jesus as described in the gospels, was a good man; he preached equality amongst people and he shared the message of peace.  But was he real?  Did he exist?

As you say, you are a Muslim and Jesus is one of your top prophets, therefore you must believe in all of the holy books; i.e. the old testament, the book of genesis, the new testament and the gospels, correct?

Couple of questions for you...Do you believe that Islam is the perfect and complete religion?  Why do we have three different major religions? As a Muslim who believes in God, what should be Islam's role in government and politics and in the everyday lives of it's people?  And finally, how do you reconcile religion and science?

I look forward to your reply :-)

Hi Shoobi...Hi all...Interesting this may seem but I've seen this somewhere b4. but Its interesting to see reactions here...

my 2 cents on this are as follows:
I believe every religion is complete in its own view. the only exception is that Islam says all the previous prophets and original scriptures are part of Islam and Muhammed is the last prophet (out of 25).

As a muslim who believes in God, what is Islam's role in government? Isn't this like saying what should the relationship between the 10 commandments and law be?

Every major religion gives us basic rules of being human and moral code to live by. Just imagine what our world would be if everyone became highly ethical (especially those in government)...

Religion and science haven't been seperated to be reconciled. live by moral code and none of this would be an issue!

but we are all human afterall lol

Ok brother
I don't like debates about religions on my blog, if you are interested in finishing this debate i can send u a link for a forum specialized in this..

For your questions about why three religions, I say :there are no three religions, they are one religion only
1- Moese, Jesus and Muhammad's God is one, his name is Allah in all the old secriptures..
2- they preached the same teachings..
3- even the christians didn't agree on which chapters are holy and which aren't. in Islam the Torah and Zaboor are the Message sent to Moses and David, but there is not assurance among the Scholars of Judaism  on which chapters were written by Moses and David and which aren't... So not the whole Old testament is holy for us - we muslims-
however, we aren't asked to say which is holy and which is not, as the Quran resummurized those holy chapters..
So we believe int eh Torah and Zaboor as they were revealed to Moses and David, but we can't judge which part of the old testaments are the Torah and the Zaboor..
4- The New testament was not written By jesus, while the Enjeel (the holy book of Jesus according to Quran) was reveald to Jesus and was written down by him...Yet we respect the new testament as a historical document on the Life of Jesus..
5-Finally I am not here to debate about christianity r Judaism, I set some verses from the old and new testament which are in agreement with our Quran. that is it..
