Today I was talking to a friend about something and as we we're jokingly talking he said," I want to kill cupid for shooting me with a broken arrow!"
I thought what followed this statement was very interesting and I wondered how many other people felt like he feels. He said that every time he meet a female and they get involved and she has a friend, he always seem to be more compatible with the best friend than with the love interest. He said, cupid uses crooked arrows on him. Do you ever feel this way? You cant try for the friend now! I told him, that's the rules, she's off limits now! You have to find a way to connect with the one you're with! They say," birds of a feather flock together" and since they are best friends, maybe those compatible qualities are in her also and maybe you would see it if you kept your attention on her! Was this good advice? I am not sure because there were times when I too felt that I caught some of those "Crooked Arrows."
