I saw Hancock and Wanted last night...

Here is my interesting point of view on the two flix...

Hanconk..he was a superhero without a cause. He saved people because he was supposed to. He was suffering from deep pschological wounds that he could not grasp so he drank and because of his generative ability he could not drink himself to death. In walks a do good- peace loving-save the worlder who wants to help him. And wouldn't you know it, this dude is married to Hancocks cosmic lover. LOL. Downside is that being with his beloved makes them mortal. WTF? Whoever wrote this film has had some bad relationships. The message I walked away with was it's better to stay far away from your beloved or you will die. If you are excellent you proably won't have a life companion for long. Unless you are willing to hide all you abilities and fit in.LOL.

Wanted...This stunted accountant finds out he is of the bloodline of a extraordinary assasin. He is taken in by an organization to be trained to avenge his fathers death. Ok he finds out that his anxiety attacks are actually a symptom of his abilty to move faster than the reality he had been stunted by and performs acts that build his confidence. No he kills his father-what? Yes the organization lied and the leader of the organization had turned to the dark side of self serving profit. Fortunately the top female was righteous and killed all the cronnies including herself. So the new man is left to exterminate the tainted leader and does so. The message I walked away with was the disabilites we try to medicate are more often a symtom of a talent or abilty that we have yet to master. Faith may not be the best way to create one's life because it short circuits one's awareness of what is going on. It also affirmed my knowing that I must create a new job or it will kill me.

OK.... you might want to put a spoiler warning in the topic line for this one. Just so people who haven't seen the movie know not to read this.
You tell all the twists and turns of the plot and I would be SOOOOO upset, if I hadn't already seen these two movies. This definitely would have ruined it for me. LOL!
But it's an interesting point of view anyway.
Thanks for sharing!

I haven't seen either and I'm the type who LOVES to know before hand (I am NOT a good gift giver, I always tell what it is before I even give it away). So thanks, Cretura!!! I will probably see Wanted at the theatre and wait for Hancock to come out on DVD.

I can appreciate that. My family is book readers and as kids we used to have rules and NO ONE was allowed to even talk about the title of a book until ALL THREE of us had read them, because we all would get some upset if someone told us something before we read it ourselves. WE are now 30, 30, and 35 and we still stick to this rule as adults. So we are big on surprises and gifts.

Like I said though, I enjoyed your view of the two. And I'd already seen both so this didn't bother me at all.
