Earthquake?!!!

So I am on the phone with my mother and she starts yelling in my ear, "EEEARTHQUAKE!!!!"
I was like... what? I started to see the mirrors on the counters in the store shaking, then I felt myself shaking. I froze for a bit not knowing what to think at this point, then I caught myself and yelled "EARTHQUAKE!" My coworker and I rushed for the door...

At around 3:00pm Atlantic Time a 7.4 Earthquake shook most the Caribbean! Check he following links for more info.http://www.stormcarib.com/

Wow, Girl!  Are you okay?
I know that it would be quite stressful to live through.
I will tell you a funny story though.  About three years ago there was a minor earthquake (somewhere between 5 and 6, if I remember correcttly) at like five in the morning, in Atlanta.  The fault line was actually somewhere near Alabama, but it was close enough that we felt it in atlanta.  Anyway, the tremor woke me up, so I called my father, who lived about five miles away and I woke him up.  When he answered the phone, I asked him, "Do you feel that?!"  His response was..."Girl, that's your mother on the treadmill!  Go back to sleep!"  You know I fell out laughing!  MY mother was livid that he would think I would be able to feel her on the treadmill from that distance!  LOL!
To this day, I tease them both about it all the time!
Anyway, I hope that you are all right and not to "shaken up!"
Take care of you!
Much love!
Val
