yup, i gotta thing for shoes, specifically sneakers.
the pic above are a few shoes i currently own. sounds silly to some, but some shoes are like art for me - i get as much satisfaction (if not more!) seeing them in my closet, than i do wearing them. in the pic above, i have worn those white old school air jordan's only once. i just love seeing them in the morning when i go to my closet - they elicit so many great high school memories. of the 20 something air jordan's, i think that they are my favorite. moving along, i have worn the K-Swiss (da shoe on the right hand side) only once as well, but unlike the jordan's, i have not owned them for over 6 months. rounding out the collection above are my blue ben sherman's (no clue who he is, but the shoe is fresh for casual wear) and the new black air max (they come with a warranty - get a free pair if your air bubble bursts!) - i have yet to wear either pair, but who knows, there's always tomorrow =)
going back to junior high school, when i first really started to get into basketball, i became a big sneaker junkie. some of my all time favorite kicks include:
Chuck All Stars - man, i felt so cool wearing these back in the 6th grade. they suck as basketball shoe (no support) but when wearing them i really believed that i could jump higher.

Air Force I: i had these in like 3-4 different colors. a freakin classic that never goes out of style. it's hip hop and basketball all in one. i preferred the low tops of these and the white/green ones were my favorite - shoot, come to think of it, i still have a few of them sitting at my mom's house.

Air Revolution - ah man, i still have these at my mom's house too (much to her chagrin since they all stink and take up space). this was my HS basketball team's kicks during my sophomore season. the velcro, air bubble, extra ankle support made this the shoe to get for every bball team in the country. man, i still love this shoe *sigh* totally kick ass and very comfortable. i remember rocking these with my nike ankle socks....i thought i was cool =)

Air Max I and Reebok Classic - the air max with its revolutionary bubble was the shiz. as for the reebok's, i owned a few pairs of the same shoe (all my hard earned summer money seemed to go tot shoes) - keeping the "classic" clean/white was an obsession.

so, ladies/gents any sneaker(s) or dress up shoes ya'll love?! what's everybody wearing these days? post your pics!
