Religion and Spirituality? How are they linked? What is your view?

Religion is religion dont really study religion, but spirituality is something else seeking God and putting him first in your life, fasting praying and making time for him and through that your spiritually shall grow you do all these things in privacy in your homes."let not your alms be seen before men otherwise ye have no reward of your father which is heaven" Matthew 6 verse 1. But also seek the gathering of Christians so you can worship together getting stronger and gain support in discussing his word. Hebrews 10 verse 25.. "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."

Thank you for the dap sweetie. Yeah what he says makes sense. Too many of us lean towards religion. Too many of us are "church goers" but not believers. We are not spiritually inclined. We know it, we say it, but do we really live it?

religion is supposed to be the medium or the vehicle to transmit spirituality(READ "GOD CONSCIOUSNESS" to mankind so that he can be in harmony with the rest of creation. However, what we have as religion to day rarely achieves that purpose because modern day religions are to boggled down by meaningless ceremonies, traditions, and rituals.
