It would be good to have a president from a different background or a mixed race, but Obama doesnt seem to have what it takes. And Mccain is very old. so Palin would end up as president. But Obama wants change, so its hard to say , because i see corruption in the Democrats and Republicans.

As an Arab American, as a student of history, Obama's rise to this level is indicative of America's changing face. For the first time we have a biracial candidate just about  to become the leader of the "free world". This reality is of immense implications to the growing non white citizens who are shouldering the new American century. Obama is imperfect and he is a prisoner of his own past and the constraints of power. But the world is no longer is black and white, no longer  you are with us or  agaisnt us. No longer will you see idealogy replace national interest imperatives as the foundation of foreign policy decisions. Obama is telling the world we as Americans are changing for the better to make the world a better place in which to work together. Now a balc American is a Presdeint-to-be; tommorow an Arab and a Muslim will also lead this country. It  will happen becasue America with all its rednicks and all of its defects the country wit
h the great moral reserve to do what is good. But we musto take our destiny int our hands to acheive this.

I don not put alot .into this .obama first and for most have to lead this country ,and show ,that he is good as any other american.in a postion of power. alot in stake for him and all non white in this country.the issue become .did he have what it takes to be a president. and wieb the iamage .of the imagrant and the new comer to this country ,can be given the opportionty to lead, if he dont preform to higher level.of leader ship. then every think well.goes down as a wash. and this country .well not give any one els a chance to run for the higher office.alot depend on him to do his upmost to be sucssful president. for the sak of all people.
but in relation to the arab world .nothing well change. its only words. no real action .becouse the arab world not ready to tack the chalanage.with amercia .or any other nations . we as an arab way behaned time and history. one nation ,one language and one faith and we are more divided than ever. my living in the Us , and owning and oporating busness. tell me one think louad and clear . amercian and its poeple love the winners and the strong. nations and leaders .until the arab peopele reach the confediant . may be within the next one hunderd year . might see a better relation between US and the arab world. whe both sides are equal ,in strangth and power.

Obama appears to be more open minded which gives me some hope for open communication.

It's quite apparent that Barrack Hussein Obama is and always will be pro-Israel just ask Benjamin Emmaneul, he could not have said it any clearer.  This is going to be fun watching the President-elect of all 57 United States of America as he tries to extricate himself from this faux-pas.

To Obama or not to Obama.. the United States has its policy built on institutions.. not like the Arab world on families !!

Benjamin Emmanuel is right on the money, personally I don't favor any type of diplomatic relations with any Arab or Muslim dominated countries until they stop killing each other which they are doing a good job at and anyone else who does not believe the way they do. Islam does not want to co-exist, it wants to dominate by killing, bombing, beheading, torture, they lack the civility and maturity to be accepted in the league of civilized nations.
