For the President- and Vice President-Elect to be surrounded by wise and godly spiritual advisors who will pray with them as they seek God’s will
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on His law he meditates day and night.

Mighty God, Your will is sovereign and perfect, and You do as You see fit in the affairs of humankind and in all Your creation. Your way is not thwarted; Your purpose is not deterred. We thank You for this assurance as we pray, now, for the President- and Vice President-Elect this day.

Lord, bring godly and wise men and women into the halls of political power in this land, and place them in positions of spiritual influence on those who lead our nation. Give them wisdom and boldness to pray for and with the President- and Vice President-Elect, leading them into Your presence, guiding them toward Your will for whatever situation or circumstance they’re facing. We praise You, Heavenly Father, for hearing our intercessions, by the power in the name of Christ we pray, amen.
