10/08/2008 Daily Affirmation

"I know that every apparent death is a resurrection; therefore, gladly I die to everything that is unlike the good. Joyfully I am resurrected into that which is beautiful, enduring, and true. Silently I pass from less to more, from isolation into inclusion, from separation into oneness. Today, realizing that there is nothing in my past which can rise against me, nothing in my future which can menace the unfoldment of my experience, I know that life shall be an eternal adventure. I revel in the contemplation of the immeasurable future, the path of eternal progress, the everlastingness of my own being, the ongoing of my soul, the daily renewed energy and action of that Divinity within me which has forever set the stamp of individualized Being on my mind." - Dr. Ernest Holmes

Recently thoughts of those who have passed on have crossed my mind more frequently. Yet, for some reason, this is the first time that I have thought of them and been able to laugh and smile over the memories instead of mourning the loss. But in Spirit in the very fiber of the Universe, as each moment passes, it is gone and in a sense has died. But in the very moment that one thing has passed away, it is already "re-becoming"

Think of the air we breath. In the moment that we exhale, the oxygen has been depleted, but the earth (trees, plants, etc.)  takes the carbon monoxide that we exhale and immediately is beginning the process of transforming it back into oxygen. We are like that air, as we go from one moment to the next we are continuously changing, transforming, and becoming MORE than we were before. We know that what ever we put into the Universe returns to us 'blessed and multiplied' so every moment is an instance of additional growth and expansion on our spiritual level and even on our physical levels as cells and molecules ( like skin, nails, and hair) are continuously dying and being reborn.

Once an experience is past, it is over and gone and is already being recreated as something new. So to waste time and energy on that moment past, is to waste more moments that will never come to pass again. Only this moment matters for it is the only one I can experience right now. Wasting it on the what if's of tomorrow is still squandering another miraculous moment that we will never see again. We are constantly being given new experiences, new opportunities and new life to enjoy to the utmost through self and through spirit.

Today I recommit in my spiritual self and my physical self to take every moment and to LAUGH LOVE AND LIVE OUT OUT LOUD! For this very instance is an immeasurable gift that I embrace with all that is within me!
