i TOTALLY AGREEE WITH YOU 100%.  I HAVE NO PROBLEM SPEAKING MY MIND AT ALL IN FACT I BELIEVE MY FORTH RIGHTEOUNESS HAS GOTTEN ME IN HOT WATER MORE TIME THAN ANYTHING.... I ALWAYS SAY IF YOU LIE TO ME YOU DON'T LOVE ME IF YOU DON'T LOVE ME HOW CAN YOU RESPECT ME?

I know where you're coming from and agree with you 100%.  I used to be one of those who lied my way through relationships of any kind all because I thought that person was doing the same thing to me which most of them were.  I also used to lie just to fit in with the "in-crowd" which seems crazy now but at the time; I just wanted to be one of the popular ones which didn't get me anywhere at the end.  The relationship I am in; I am trying my hardest telling the truth and nothing but the truth no matter what and hoping he is doing the same.  I think that is the reason why I don't have many friends and wondered why I have a hard time trusting anyone for a very long time.  I came to a conclusion that I didn't trust myself which made me no trust anyone else around me.  This truth thing is new to me and I guess you can say that I am finally talking my mind and don't care what people think one way or another.

Most people seem to feel that if they lie there saving the person any hurt, however in reality it the molehill into the mountain syndrome.

People are a lot stronger than they may seem.  For me, I may cry for a bit and my feelings may be hurt, but that's better than living a lie or putting my hopes into something that will never be.

When it was written that the truth shall set you free, that was too true.

You took the words out of my mouth diznu1.  I rather have the truth than the lie all because I don't want to put all my dreams and hope into something that won't be. Knowing that the truth might hurt but in the long run I will feel alot better than being told the lie to where I will be hurt alot more than being told the truth.  I also can't stand people lie after they just told a lie from the beginning to cover up the first lie which makes the situation worst than it was in the beginning especially when they suppose to care about the person or love the person they told the lie to.  Many give excuses for telling the lie but there are no excuse in the world to lie even if they are trying to spare the person the hurt which they don't understand that lying hurt alot more at the end.  So my motto for this is "If you can't tell the truth; just don't say anything at all".
