I have collected some recent thoughts regarding Nuzizo progress as a site as a catalyst for a discussion ...

1. To my opinion the progress in new memberships is very slow. It needs a boost someway ...
2. Many new people from those that join create a partial profile, add a photo, collect 3-4 DAPs from welcomers and ... they disappear for ever ...
3. Many of the let's say "more often online here" (maybe 100 people) also start to come more and more rarely online ...

Why? I think there is we have to focus our discussion and each one - leaving aside any flattering feelings - tries to give his/her explanations and revive the site ...

I will put my own few remarks on the situation:

1. It would be better the site to be all free for members and trying to collect income from banners relative to each discussion topic or members interest. DAPs are nice as a way of membership subscription but I have the feeling that not all members want to pay a DAP purchasing. On the other hand as all the members are kind and warm and want to reciprocate to other members offerings this makes them feel a bit uncomfortable and they defend to this feeling by coming less online (of course this could be my explanation but an honest interview among current often members online could give the answer). Thinking that the site income at this stage with few members from DAPs sales is symbolic, I propose the DAP to be poinless and free like post cards, free for all members to use to each other. Their incoem to be replaced with ads (ie like Adsense).

2. Without meaning that I show any disrespect to our Iranian friends in this site  - I do respect them and wish them all success with Rumi - the site is lately too ... Iranian !! I propose someway to bring back the initial balance. I searched the recent blogs and it seems to me that 80% or more of them refer to Iran. I underline again that I am not against Iran but honestly speaking if I go to a site for making friends, making new relations and exchanging ideas and having fun, this part doesnt show too attractive to me ...

3. I would emphasize the rep points collection on activity rather than on DAPs exchanging even if this would mean to start again from 0 for all the members of the site ... Activity and interactivty (popularity of a blog, group or photo etc.) and introduction of new real members should be the main criterium for rep points and site status than DAPs ... DAPs coudl remain as a friendly gesture among members ...

4. I propose the possibility to design each member's page to be given from the beginning to every member to show freely his/her personality and freedom of expression.

5. Chatting feature was a great add-on.

6. Monthly magazine was also a great plus and it showed again that there is a need for the site moderating team presence to be more active.

These as a start for a constructive discussion for Nuzizo's glory !!
