what are you watching now?

im constantly trying to keep up on the lastest anime and im always looking for new titles and series. at the present ive been watching TONAGURA!, DEATHNOTE, BAKUMATSU(image below), and GHOST HUNT. im also watching an older series called GANKUTSUOU(the count of monte cristo), which i recommend over almost anything else.

how about you? whats are you watching series-wise, new or old?
can you make any suggestions?
what are some of your favorites?

Showtime's running a vignette of anime cartoon shows this weekend. There is also a question and answer with Izo Hashimoto as the guest of honor and Akira as the main event. Cool no? Here's to Tetsuo & Kaneda and Tetsuo's wicked ass powers. i know it's not new but it's a classic..

yeah, definitely a classic. tetsuo gave me the first glimpse of what a real person would do if they had superpowers. are they showing the subbed or the dubbed version?

LOL yeah he sure did....they showed the dubbed version earlier.... think it's cool either way but some people can't read and watch a film at the same time. :o) what about

i used to watch it when it was on cartoon network some years back, but it never did for me what the original MACROSS series did. and i never watched it regularly so the plot was beyond me.

now im trying to think, what was the last thing i watched with robots and mecha in it? i think it was ZEGAPAIN and INNOCENT VENUS.

Nope none of those for me...I guess the whoe ergo proxy living in romdo and raul creed and my obsession with vincent law yeah ergo proxy had it all.

i just watched deathnote17 and looks like the series is going in another direction. ive never read the manga so i dont know if this plots normal or not. things got goofy and there looks like theres gonna be a main character switch or something.
