Saddam is dead

Posted by princesstamtam on Saturday, December 30, 05:24 AM

It's warm here. In fact it's blistering and for wonders I want to walk around with barely anything on but I'm cold and a little afraid for I just beheld the American news headlines “Saddam Dead".  Why should the fact that one of the most ruthless dictators to ever walk the earth be dead make feel sad or afraid?  I don't know I mean he's dead now, no?  I guess because I know there are other's out there more than willing to take up the torch and finish what he started.  He was the Stalin, Hitler, and Hoxa of our time. Or was it months of watching this powerful, handsome (if you like the cold black eyes, heavy mustache and I've got nutty son's type) turn into someone almost fatherly looking.

He actually defended what he did and why he did it and even I have to admit there was a lot less beheadings of innocent Americans when he was in power.  Don't get me wrong any chance an Iraqi got to slip the throat of an unsuspecting US citizen they did it, but it was discreet, tastefully done and art form.  None of this blatant, fuck the world and America shit.  I have a question, I call it the Hussein Theory question.  How can someone/ something  be allowed to go bad for so long and not be reprimanded be held fully responsible for the actions done in that time frame?  Think of a spoiled child ( my nephew Matthew gee whiz ) having tantrum after tantrum and being smiled at indulgently by their parents.  When the parent decides to put a stop to it, it's a little too late and it's not entirely the tot's fault.   He should have had one good cuffing a longggggggg time ago.  Anyway if you want to read more just click the link..

I'm totally agree with you that he did a lot of terrible things , but!!!! Do you know that all countries except USA was against the death penalty in the way they did. And only USA president said that its very good move toward the democracy in Iraq. GREAT!!! I can say that death penalty is prohibit in most of countries. So why its can happen? How anyone dare to take somebody's life out even if this person did something very bad.
Anyway its my IMHO, and i'm very disappointed

My opinion on that is the US in some way shape or form would have had to take responsibility for their part in Hussein's destructiveness.  You are not suppose to take responsibility for the wickedness of other men but in certain terms we are our brothers keepers.  When he gassed the kurds where do you think he got the gas from?  The united states.  I'm a woman I can bring life forth from me so a small part of me felt a son die.  I feel son's and daughter dying every day.  Everywoman is the mother of a man..women are the saddest on this earth....Thank you

I've got chills, is all I can say ...
this is supposed to be 2006/2007, this is America, the country that every other nation and people wants to emulate, we are supposed to be modern thinkers and spread DEMOCRACY ... but instead we digressed back to Hammurabi's Code circa 1760 BC ... this behavior condoned by 2 of the most self-claimed "religious" countries in the world ... the same 2 religions that claim they are soooooo different, that both supposedly have a Day of Judgement and that both time and time again take this "judement" upon themselves to carry out .... HIPPOCRITES!!!
-truly confused and saddened
