Enjoy The Silence

You can't have the 80's without...

Bon Jovi

No hair bands have really been mentioned yet, so I had to bring in my favorite one! HA HA! I'll go ahead and share a secret with my fellow Nuzizo citizens....when I was little, I used to tell people I was married to Jon Bon Jovi! UGH! The things we say when we are younger....

Johnny Hates Jazz

This was a one hit wonder that was a massive hit....

The Cranberries

I think you all forget this band which I think one the greatest bands ever, I remember the first time I bought an album for them it was NO NEED TO ARGUE that night I kept listing to it again and again and there was this song that I couldn’t get enough of it was Ode To My Family, they had best lyrics and they had one of the greatest vocals which is Dolores O'Riordan .

Wham

This became the anthem for many people since.... "Wake me up before you go go!" LOL

George then went on to write sing great hits...

Father Figure
Faith
Don't let the sun go down on me (with Elton)

And one of my favorites ..."careless Whisper"...not sure if that was with Wham or solo

Madness

Who can forget these guys singing 'bout their house being in the middle of the street. One many first intro's to Ska....

Father wears his Sunday best
Mother's tired she needs a rest
The kids are playing up downstairs
Sister's sighing in her sleep
Brother's got a date to keep
He can't hang around

A-ha

I loved that song "Take on me"....for the life of me I never knew what they were saying. I finally looked up the lyrics last week....After all these years I finally know what is it! "In a day or two" I always sang "when you tell me to" lol :)

Inxs

Terence Trent D'Arby

The UK answer to Lenny with a smaller waist. This dude was really sexy, ssexy all over looks, voice, songs, you name it he was sexy.  Wishing well and sign your name across my heart 2 great songs.

Group description

I can't seem to let go of my leg warmers and ruffled lace sock. Ok I'm lying I threw those out a longggg time ago well not that long ago. There may be a heap of things I could "let" go from the eighties but the music is not one of them. This group is dedicated to the cheesy clothes wearing, too much make-up flossing, big hair sporters of the eighties
