ERNIE SMITH.....MUS BE A DUPPY OR A GUN MAN (DUPPY=GHOST)

ERNIE SMITH IS ONE OF JAMAICA'S MOST EXPRESSIVE LYRICAL GENIUSES.

OPERATION RADICATION

THE ERADICATION SQUAD WAS A "CODENAME" FOR A STRATEGY THE GOVERNMENT OF JAMAICA EMPLOYED IN THE EARLY EIGHTIES TO COMBAT CRIME. REALLY LISTEN TO THE LYRICS

THE GREEN BAY KILLING WAS WHERE A GROUP KNOWN  OF OPPOSITION  PARTY (JLP) "SUPPORTERS" WERE LURED TO AN AREA CALLED GREEN BAY AND ALLEGEDLY MURDERED BY POLICE OFFICERS.

Body Move man this guy was a wasp!!!

RATED PG 18 & over

Little Lenny- the heir to the Yellowman Throne. Wonder where he is now?

Kill mi dead indeed.
Pum pum is quite, simply...sublime

Terror Fabulous/Nadine Sutherland - Action

One of the hottest songs of its time....Some of the lyrics for those who couldn't figure out what the hell Terror was saying :)

JC Lodge - Telephone Love

When this song hit everyone knew the lyrics and was able to identify with them.  Big up to June and that long ass phone cord!

Nardo Ranks - Burrup

who didn't love this song that really had no lyrics? Burrrrrrrp Escuse me..

Shelly Thunder - Kuff

What is a Kuff?  The same thing as a box upset your head.  You know when someone barely glances the side of your face/head but its not really a slap... only more humiliating :)

Old School Reggae

Show/hide details

Group description

This group is focused on reggae music, old school reggae music that is. From the innovative twang of the late Tenor Saws " Ring De Alarm" and "Golden Hen" to the singsay rapid fire chants of Papa Sans "Hippitti Hippitti Hop" and slow melodic puesdo lovesong "Strange". Lets revisit Tiger the original energy god and his mega hit "When" and the dance crazed bogle song "You Dead Now". Remember the "Article Don" Ninjaman and " Murder Dem" ? How about the wild indian SuperCat with "Ghetto Red hot" and Echo Minott's "Lazy Body"? Junior Reid's reggae anthem " Original Foreign Mind" and fast paced " All Fruits Ripe"? With or without you I'm going down memory lane, but the dance would be sweeter if you joined me.
