To Build a Swing

You carryAll the ingredientsTo turn your life into a nightmare-Don't mix them!

Would you think it odd...

Would you think it odd...

An Infant in your Arms

The tide of my love
Has risen so high let me flood
over

You.

Close your eyes for a moment
And maybe all your
fears and fantasies

Will end.

If that happened
God would become an infant in your

Arms

And then you
Would have to nurse all

Creation!

Ghazal 178

Whoever was intimate with his heart, his love defined
And he who was not, in his doubt was left behind.
If my heart went through the veil, then fault me not
I thank God that it did not remain within the veil of mind.

Returning

The morning breeze comes back
and from the southern desert
the lapwing returns
The dove's soft song about roses
I hear that again.

The tulip, who understands what the lily says,
went away, but now she's back.

With the sound of a bell,
strength and gentleness.

Hafiz broke his vow and damaged his heart,
but now, for no reason, his Friend forgives that,
and turns, and walks back up to his door.

School of Truth

O fool, do something, so you won't just stand there looking dumb.
If you are not traveling and on the road, how can you call yourself a guide?
