Hip hop lends itself well to civil rights movements such as this.

It'd be nice for U.S. based artists to revitalize the political leverage of Hip Hop that was commonplace in the late eighties/early nineties. 

Booty shaking is all good, but there are more significant ways the music can serve humanity.
